WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR FIRM WHEN RENTING IN KOREA:

 Service areas:

• Primary service area includes Itaewon, Hanam-dong, Dongbinggo-dong, UN Village, of the Yongsan Gu (District) area; Seongbuk-dong, Yeonhui-dong, Bangbae-dong, Gangnam areas; downtown high-rise apartments and Camp Humphreys.
• All areas of Korea are available through our partner networking system.

 Types of available homes:

• High rise apartments, from multiple bedrooms to studios
• Villas
• Single-family homes

 Search for and selection of your new home:

• Properties will be selected for viewing based on the prospective client’s preferences
• Rental price and terms will be negotiated with the landlord.
• Once agreement has been made, the rental contract and associated legal documents will be drafted for signature.

 Moving in and settling down:

• Home inspection and any necessary repairs will be resolved before move-in.
• Photographs depicting the condition of the home will be taken before moving to ensure you are protected when you complete your rental term.
• Any furnishings remaining in the home, such as furniture, will be inventoried.
• Help with opening bank accounts, and setting up automatic withdrawal of utility fees.
• Help with purchasing a mobile phone and exchanging currencies.
• Orientation and instruction on such things as how to use household appliances, key maintenance, garbage and recyclable disposal and other general household requirements will be provided.
• Overview of area public transportation, surrounding restaurants, buildings, and facilities.
• Contact information for maintenance problems that occur during residence.
• Service as primary point of contact with the landlord.

 Getting ready to leave your home:

• Inventory check.
• Security deposit refund.
• Disconnection of utilities, telephone line, internet, cable, newspaper and cancellation of bank account.
